Call for Abstracts

The purpose of the poster session is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of issues related to breast cancer and the environment. To that end, we invite you to submit a poster for the "Emerging Topics in Breast Cancer and the Environment Research" symposium.

Posters must fall into one of the following categories:

  • Recent scientific data
  • Innovative/unique community outreach programs
  • Risk communication efforts
  • Advocacy

Poster space is limited and priority for presentation will be based on relevance to the theme of environmental factors in breast cancer and a representative distribution of topic areas. Posters on community outreach programs and risk communication efforts should share information regarding target populations, goals and objectives/methods, and mechanisms of evaluation for success. Examples of related advocacy activities are translation of environmental data into policy and environmental eduation programs.
