This Center proposes a plan to fill specific gaps in in utero, postnatal, and pubertal environmental influences in mammary gland development. The program includes an in-depth physiological project to examine environmental exposures that perturb the expression and function of estrogen and progesterone receptor in mouse models. The Community Outreach and Translation Core is an extensive attempt to facilitate inclusion of stakeholders, advance environmental justice programs, and transmit relevant public health messages to a broad region of Michigan.
